Prophet Hosea's Date of the Second Coming Revealed

The Prophet Hosea may have unknowingly given the date of the Second Coming of Christ.

The Book of Hosea was written in 748 B.C. The name Hosea means "Salvation". He was a contemporary of Isaiah. Hosea began prophesying at a young age.

To understand how Hosea may have given us the date of the Second Coming of Christ, lets first look at the prophecy. Then, working backwards from the date of the Second Coming, we can assign common sense dating to the possible start of the Tribulation Period and the Rapture. Hosea's prophecy is as follows.

Hosea 5:15- "I will go and return to My place, until they acknowledge their offence, and seek My face: in their affliction they will seek Me early." 

Literally, this phrase is dealing with the people of Israel during the lifetime of Hosea. Once again the Jewish people have turned their back on God and begun to worship idols. And once again God is in the process of punishing them by removing His presence and protection from them. This means that in the course of time, nations will conspire to conquer Israel, and God will not step in to change their minds.

Prophetically speaking, we need to first consider the phrase, "I will go". So, who is the "I"? One would say God, but it must be God the Word as He spoke creation into existence and is the one responsible for judging the behavior of His creation on behalf of the Godhead (Colossians 1:16; Revelation 20:11-12). Thus, He is creation's touchstone with the Godhead. So, logically the "I" must be talking about God in general but specifically about the Word of God or Christ.

The next part of this phrase states, "I will go...". So, when did Christ "go" or leave His people? Obvious He did this when He ascended from the Mount of Olives ten days before the Jewish Feast of Pentecost (Luke 24:50-51; Acts 1:9-11).

The phrase continues, "... and return to my place,". So where did Christ return to when He ascended? Scripture is clear, He ascended back to Heaven and to His place which has always been seated on the Throne of God, to the right of God the Father (Mark 16:19-20; I Peter 3:22).

Next we read that He will remain in His place, "...until they acknowledge their offense,". The word "until" means that Christ came to the earth a first time then ascended back into Heaven and is waiting "until" which can only mean "until" He returns a second time. So, He is currently on the Throne of God, and apparently patiently waiting for some future event that involves Him, at which time He will return. Now, who is the word "they" referring to? Generally speaking it is a disbelieving gentile world. But specifically, it is the Jewish race. Now, what "offense" has the Jewish race committed against Christ such that He is waiting in Heaven for them to "acknowledge" and apparently repent of it? The word "offense" is singular so we are talking about one singular offense that God has a tremendous problem with. It is obvious that the offense has two part. First, it was Israel plotting to have Jesus killed by conspiring with Rome. Second, it is their continued two thousand year rejection of Him as their Messiah and Savior. So, the Messiah of Israel has two separate comings or arrivals. He was rejected at His first coming, but is waiting to perform a Second Coming. He will do this once the Jewish nation acknowledges or accepts the responsibility of what they have done which is their "offense", repents for this act or blasphemy, and asks God for forgiveness (John 1:11). It is only then that God will remember and honor His Covenant with His people (Leviticus 26:36-42).

This part of the sentence ends with the words,"... and seek My face:"

This means that when the Jews repent of their "offensive" attitude concerning Jesus, and "acknowledge" Him as their Messiah, they will then stop turning their back on God, and instead turn around and eagerly look for Him.

The last part of this sentence reads as rather ominous, "in their affliction they will seek Me early."

This phrase is reminiscent of Jesus looking out over the city of Jerusalem and saying, "Oh Jerusalem, Jerusalem you who kill the prophets …" (Mathew 23:37-39).

So, there is a prerequisite condition for the Second Coming of Christ and it involves the Jew realizing, in a time of great "affliction" or tribulation, that they need God's supernatural intervention if they are to survive. Thus, they pray for this intervention, and anxiously look in faith for it to arrive quickly or as "early" as possible. Further, there also appears to be a prerequisite condition for the Rapture to take place. Only God knows what it is, but when the time comes, He will order the Rapture to occur, followed by the Bema Seat Judgement of the saints, the Marriage Ceremony of the Lamb, the Reception Dinner of the Lamb and the Second Coming. Its almost as if God has this complete scenario all thought out in advance … right? And all these events take place over a 7 year time period on earth.

So, what does the phrase, "... in their affliction" refer to? The people of God have always been hated. This is because Satan is temporarily the prince of this world. So it should come as no surprise that when God made a covenant with Abraham to create a race to be known as His Chosen People, Satan was singularly focused on them. He originally wanted to destroy this race as it would produce a redeemer for mankind (Genesis 3:15; 22:18). When Jesus self sacrificed Himself for the redemption of mankind, Satan did not stop his attacks. Now he had two enemies, the Jews and the Christians. When the Rapture occurs, the Christians are removed from the earth and the Jews are left on their own in a world that despises them. So now Satan will refocus on the Jews, and he knows he has 7 years to eradicate this race if he is to stop the Second Coming of Christ. It is Christ that will ultimately judge and confine him in the Lake of Fire (Revelation 20:10). Therefore, antisemitism is not so much bigotry, as it is satanic in nature. People who are anti-Semitic are unknowingly doing the bidding of Satan and they will be judged harshly by God for their efforts or fruits of their labor (Genesis 12:3).

Jesus tells us that the Antichrist will execute a plan of complete and total annihilation of the Jewish race. There will be no place for the Jews to run and no place to hide (Matthew 24:15-22). They will be hated and persecuted on every continent. Ultimately, the Jewish race will be reduced to a small remnant fighting for their very existence in the city of Jerusalem (Romans 9:26-27). It is only then that they will be forced to repent of their sins, earnestly beg God for forgiveness, and to send their Messiah if they are to survive another day.

"...they will seek Me early." It should be noted that the phrase "seek me early" is better translated, "seek Me earnestly". So, the phrase "... they will seek Me early or earnestly" is saying that they will beg God for Mercy and their Messiah (Jesus) for deliverance literally three days before their race ceases to exist. They seek God both "early" and "earnestly" in that if they waited a few more days, it will be too late for any of the Jewish race to survive. The prophet Zechariah tells us that of the six million Jews currently living in Israel, four million will be killed (Zechariah 13:8). Of the two million left, many are not practicing or religious Jews, but only cultural Jews. Therefore, many of these will also be killed worldwide along with the gentiles who, at the Second Coming, are also judged as unrepentant and wicked. So, one could say that the "Time of Jacob's Trouble for the Jews" is actually triggered by the "Time of Jesus' Celebration for His Saints". He will rapture them off the earth to experience a great giving of rewards, a spectacular marriage ceremony and a sumptuous feast with family members and friends in attendance (Jeramiah 30:7; Revelation 19:7-9). So we can now say with certainty that if a person thinks or preaches that the followers of Christ go through the Tribulation Period, they do not fully understand what the Church represents, and do not understand what the Tribulation is all about. The story of Noah is a shadow event of the Tribulation. The Rapture is the Ark, the righteous are invited on board to provide safety. The Tribulation is the flood below that destroys the unrighteous. The righteous are safe above the troubled waters of the Tribulation. The Great Tribulation of 3.5 years is global, but specific to Israel and the Middle East where all of todays false religions originated.

So when does the Bible tell us that the proud Jewish race will "earnestly" turn to God to reveal their Messiah? The answer is clear that this event will not happen until the rise of the Antichrist and the last days of the Tribulation Period known as the War of Armageddon. It will be at that time that the armies of the world, under the leadership of the Antichrist, will conduct an invasion of Israel and a genocide campaign against the entire remaining Jewish race (Revelation 16:16). In literally the final few remaining days of this War, the state of Israel will be completely overwhelmed and occupied by an invading force of several hundred million soldiers. The Antichrist will then order his troops to go door to door executing all Jews. Half the city will fall (Zechariah 14:2). It is only then that the proud Jews, knowing that complete annihilation of their race is at hand, will drop to their knees. It is only then that they will repent and pray for their deliverance which will require their long awaited Messiah to appear. This one act by the Jews is the trigger for the Second Coming of Christ. They will at last "acknowledge their offense" and "earnestly seek His face in their affliction".

TIMELINE OF THE SECOND COMING

Now, to understand the timeline of the Second Coming, we need to consider the next chapter of Hosea. This is when we learn the timing of Israel coming to the realization that they are lost as a race unless they repent of their sin of pride and disbelief in Christ. It appears that the surviving leaders of Israel declare a national day of prayer while surrender negotiations are under way. The Antichrist, now under the control of Satan, believes that if he can destroy the Jewish race, then there will be no need for Christ to return to the earth. In this way, Satan will have escaped the judgement from God, not be confined in the Lake of Fire, but instead be worshiped on earth by unrighteous mankind as a god (II Thessalonians 2:4). So the climax of the Age of the Rule of Mankind comes down to only one question. Who will a person worship? God their Creator, or the Antichrist who is a mortal like themselves.

Now here is where we get a clue as to the timeline of the Second Coming of Christ.

Hosea 6:1- "Come and let us return to the Lord:

It was during the first century Jewish religious leaders initially rejected Christ. We read this in many places throughout the Gospels. However, this public rejection of Him by these leaders, particularly when they eye witnessed His miracles, eventually brings who He is to a head. No rabbi was ever capable of driving a demonic spirit out of a mute person. This was because in order for a rabbi to exorcise a demon spirit, they needed to know its name. And of course a mute could not speak the name. Jesus immediately drove a demonic spirt out of a man who was mute. The leaders who witnessed this miracle knew that this could only have been accomplished by the Messiah. But they refused to recognize Jesus as Messiah. Therefore, they publicly accused Him of creating miracles with the help of Satan, and not the Holy Spirit of God. Jesus made it clear that to make this accusation was a personal blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. And as such, it was the only unforgivable sin (Matthew 12:19, 24, 31).

Over the past two thousand years, the Jewish religious leaders have initiated teachings that portray Jesus as a false messiah. As such, He could not have exercised the powers of God. Therefore, His miracles were either false, or He used powers from some source other than God. These ideologies have made the Unpardonable Sin the national sin of Israel. This does not mean that the Jews are no longer God's chosen people. They still are. But it does mean that those Jews who reject Jesus as Messiah on this basis, puts them squarely in the category of committing the Unpardonable Sin. And this means that for the past two thousand years many, if not most Jews have, and will continue to die in their sins. So, when Jesus returns, many if not most unbelieving cultural Jews will die along with the unrepentant gentiles of the world. According to Christ, the fact that they have a Jewish genealogy will not save them from the judgement of sin. (Matthew 3;9, 12:19: 24, 31). However, Scripture is clear that only Jesus will decide who is deemed as righteous and who is not (Psalm 96:13; Psalm 98:9; Matthew 25:31-32; Matthew 28:18; John 5:22; John 5:27; John 12:47-48; Acts 10:42; Acts 17:31; II Timothy 4:8).

It is at this time that the remaining Jews agree that God had left Israel many years ago. That He had left them because they had become spiritually blinded through pride. The Jewish race believes that because of their superior intellect, dedication to hard works and holders of the covenant title of the chosen people of God, they have a free pass to Heaven. So, they have become overly proud and boastful of what they believe they alone have accomplished. And, that their accomplishments are based on their own merits without any outside help from anyone including God. It was this sin of pride that first brought down Lucifer the Archangel (Isaiah 14:12-14). It was the sin of pride that caused Adam to sin. It was the sin of self pride that caused the rise of Nimrod and all the false religions of mankind. It was pride that caused the religious leaders of Judah to plot to have Jesus killed as an inconvenient truth because they had become spiritually blind. And it is this sense of national pride that has caused the great nation of Israel to stumble and fall from grace in the eyes of God.

"Come let us return to the Lord:" This means that the surviving civil and religious leaders of Israel huddled in bunkers in Jerusalem have concurred that the only way out of the death trap that they themselves have caused, is to pray to God for a supernatural intervention. This runs counter to everything Israel sees it has accomplishments since its founding in 1948. Still, they see this as their only option. "Come let us return to the Lord:" is saying the nation will now be ordered to observe three days of fasting and national prayer. All surviving Jews throughout the world will also pray as will all Christians who have experienced a great worldwide revival over the past seven years and come to Christ.

"for He has torn {us} and He will heal us: He has smitten {us} and He will bind us up {again}."

The Jews now realize that the Antichrist's victories over them can only have occurred because they have turned their backs on God, and He in return has turned His back on them. They now understand that God had long ago left them to their own devices. Therefore, the nations of the world were free to plot against them without any intervention from God on their behalf. While God has allowed His people to be chastised or "torn" by gentile nations, He has always "healed" them if and when they turn from their sinful ways. God has allowed the nations to "smitten" or punish His people, but He will always "bind" their wounds, unite them and lift them "up" again if they repent and return to Him. It is never too late.

THE CLUE TO DATE THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST

Hosea 6:2- "After two days will He revive us: in the third day He will raise us up, and we shall live in His sight."

"After two days He will revive us:" Literally, we are reading about the apparent three days of national prayer on the part of Israel. For two days, the once spiritually blind Jews reverently repent of their sins, and plead for God to once again turn His gaze back on His people who have defiantly remained spiritually blind for the past two thousand years (Leviticus 26:41-42; Jeremiah 3:12-13, 21-22) it is during these two days of prayer that their spirts are raised and hope of survival begins to grow.

But prophetically, this is a vital cryptic part of the Second Coming timeline. In II Peter we read, "... one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day."(II Peter 3:8) Yes, this literally means that God exists outside the time, space continuum. Therefore, time as we know it, has no effect on God. But prophetically, this verse can be understood to mean that a thousand years of earth time is as a day on God's timetable. This time demarcation is much like that of Daniel's reference to a week meaning seven years instead of seven days. So, Hosea is saying that literally, earth time has no bearing on God. But at the same time, he is prophetically saying that a day can mean one thousand years of earth time. Therefore, after two days or two thousand years, Jesus will save the Jewish race with His appearance, and at the same time, end the rule of man on earth.

On an interesting note, according to the ages of the patriarchs given in Genesis, God created Adam and Eve six thousand years ago. It was two thousand years from Adam to Abraham, and two thousand years from Abraham to Jesus. It has been two thousand years from Jesus until today. This is a total of six thousand years from Adam until today. Interestingly, man was created on the sixth day to rest with God (Genesis 2:2-4). So, if a day equals one thousand years, then man who was created specifically by God to rule the earth on day six, has ruled the earth for six days or 6,000 years. And we know that God rested on the 7th day. So, if the 7th day represents a final one thousand years, this must occur during the one thousand year reign of Christ on earth which will be a time of peace and rest. Therefore, this theory of a day equaling one thousand years does makes mathematical sense.

Also, Daniel prophesied that the Messiah would be crowned King of Kings 490 years after the defensive walls of Jerusalem were rebuild having been destroyed by Babylon. However, he stated that the Messiah would be "cut off" or killed one week or 7 years before the 490 years came to pass (Daniel 9:24-26). Jesus entered Jerusalem on Palm Sunday in year 483. He was crucified the following Friday, seven years before the 490 year date. It is these seven remaining years that make up the 7 year Tribulation Period. And, on the very last day of the seventh year, He will return and be crowned King of Kings and Lord of Lords (Revelation 19:16). The math is inescapable!

EXACT DATES

Here is how we can put exact dates on these events. Jesus arose from His tomb on Sunday, April 5th, 33 A.D. He remained on the earth preaching and meeting with His disciples for the next 40 days. It was then that He arose from the earth and "returned to His place". His ascension would have occurred on May 15th 33 A.D. Please note that a first century calendar had 12 months each consisting of 30 days. So, if Jesus returns in two days, or two thousand years, the exact anniversary date of His Second Coming would be May 15th 2033. And, if we deduct 7 years to account for the Tribulation Period, the Rapture would take place in 2026. Now lets take a closer look at Hosea's prophecy concerning the "third day".

"in the third day...," The Jew's true repentance prayers for the appearance of the Messiah in their time of need has been heard by God. He now ends the Marriage Supper of the Lamb in Heaven and initiate the Second Coming of Christ. Thus, a remnant of the House of David will be saved (Romans 11:25-29). This is reminiscent of Ezekiel 37 in which God prophesies His willingness to resurrect the Jewish race from acts of genocide (Ezekiel 37:1-8). God has done this a number of times for His race of people, but the most recent was after the German holocaust of WWII (1940-1945) . The Germans execute 6 million Jews out of the 9.5 living in Europe at that time. Remarkably, the Jewish nation of Israel was created in May of 1948. And He will perform another miracle when He saves a remnant of the Jewish race at the Second Coming of Christ. The two thousand year diaspora of the Jews was the harshest curse God has ever put on the Jews, but only because the sin of conspiring to kill their Messiah was the worst sin they have ever committed. And, for two thousand years, they have stubbornly refused to pick up a copy of the Gospel and discover for themselves the horrible mistake the High Priest Caiaphas and his sycophants made by conspiring to kill their Messiah.

It was on the third day that Christ left his tomb and appeared to His distressed followers. It will now be on the third day that Christ will once again leave His Throne and appear to His tribulation distressed followers that now include the Jewish race. The word "in" the third day is also referring to the start of the Millennial Reign of Christ. It is 'in" or during this day, which is the very last day of the Great Tribulation Period, Christ returns and His earthly Reign begins. Scripture tells us that this particular day is referred to as the "Day of the Lord". It is a day of great dread for the unrepentant as they are about to be instantly and unceremoniously removed from the face of the earth ( Jeramiah 30:7-8; Isaiah 13:4-6, 9-14; Joel: 3:12-14; Zephaniah 1:14-18; Ezekiel30:3-4; Luke 17:34-36).

But it is a miraculous and joyous day for those believers in Christ who have survived for the past seven years. They will watch as the sky cracks open and the pure white light of Heaven itself streaks down on the darkened earth (Matthew 24: 29-30; Genesis 1:3). They will see Christ leading billions of His saints and billions of His army of angels who descend on the armies of the world (Revelation 19:14). This event will also be witnessed by the entire earth as the scene will stretch completely around the earth from skyline to skyline, from horizon to horizon. The white light blinds and destroys the unrepentant as they struggle to hide in basement, bunkers, caves and safe rooms (II Thessalonians 2:8; Revelation 6:15-17). They could still repent and be saved, but instead they refuse. Then, with a word from Christ, all the wicked around the world instantly drop dead where they stand, work, sleep or hide (Revelation 19:15). Some of these bodies will be consumed by wild animals while the rest will simply become fertilizer for plant life. This is referred to as the Supper of God (Revelation 19:17). This will be yet another great miracle associated with Christ's Second Coming. And, while this day starts out with the deaths of the unrepentant of the earth, it is on this same day that the earth is instantly rid of all evil, war, hunger and sickness forever. And, the "Day of the Lord" will last one thousand years. Yes, there will still be night and day on the earth, but the day that begins the Reign of Christ will be commemorated as the day that lasted one thousand years.

"... He will raise us up," Just as Jesus raised Himself to life on the third day, so will He raise the surviving Jews to spiritual life on the third day (John 10:18). They were on the brink of death, but His arrival to fight for them has literally saved their lives from the Antichrist's holocaust. They are raised emotionally from their down trodden mental state of certain death to life. They, along with all the righteous mortals of the earth, will now receive longevity of life as it was with the patriarchs. The prophet Isaiah details this momentous event in his Book (Isaiah 63).

"...and we shall live..." Literally, the Jews of Jerusalem and around the world will be saved by the Second Coming of Christ. This statement also means that those Jews and gentiles determined by Christ to be righteous through faith, will now all be allowed to live extremely long lives as did the patriarchs of Genesis. The Jews of Israel will be personally overseen by a resurrected King David. However, Christ will rule the entire earth from the Third Temple in Jerusalem. The nations of the earth will be monitored by the resurrected and raptured saints of Christ. They were given their assignments at the Bema Seat Judgment seven years earlier. While people and races will continue to live around the world for a period of time, all Jews will now live in Israel, or the Promise Land as God originally intended (Matthew 24:30-31). The boundaries of Israel will then be greatly extended to their original demarcations as given by God to Abraham. Generally speaking, the North South borders will start in southern mountains of Lebanon and end in the South at the Nile River. The East West borders will start at the Euphrates River and end at the Mediterranean Sea.

"...in His sight." Those Jews in Jerusalem will actually witness the Second Coming of Christ in great glory. Once He arrives, He will immediately begin His Millennial Reign from the Temple. Therefore, the surviving Jews will literally see the Second Coming, be saved from certain death, and then "live in His sight" as He will rule the earth from the Third Temple. The rest of the world will also live under His reign as an iron rod (Revelation 2:27). Meaning, there are now only righteous people living on the earth, and no unrighteous behavior of any kind will be tolerated. Mankind will live in total peace and harmony with each other and nature.

Hosea 6:3- "Then shall we know,..."After two days of national mourning and repentance, and after being raised up to life in His sight on the third day after the Second coming, the Jews will at long last "shall come to know" Jehovah. They will know for certain that He is merciful to those who repent of their sins. He is a good master, protector and friend. To know Jehovah is the secret to wisdom.

"if we follow on to know the Lord:" The people of the earth will now personally know their Creator "if" the people of the earth continue to walk in the ideal behavior of thought and deed as set by God. Sadly, we read that at the end of Christ's Millennial Reign, Satan is released from the Pit (Revelation 20:1-3). God allows this in order to test the virtue of those born under the rule of Christ. They have never experienced temptation and exercised their God given right to follow their Creator, or follow their own desires. We are told that many will follow Satan by rebelling against Christ. As they approach Jerusalem to overthrow His rule, fire suddenly comes down from the sky and destroys them (Revelation 20:9). This is the final event of mankind rebelling against God.

It is then that the earth is purified by the Holy Spirit, the unrighteous dead are judged, and a structure descends from the sky that will serve eternally as the home of all mankind complete with the actual Throne Room of God (Revelation 21:2-4). This event was prophesied in the final annual feast of the Jews known as Sukkot in which God tabernacles or dwells with mankind as He did with the Jews for forty years in the wilderness.

"His going forth is prepared." This phrase is stating that God has "prepared" or predetermined and fixed an exact date and time that the Age of the Rule of Man will end (Matthew 24:36). This Age had a starting date six thousand years ago, and it has an ending date. This date is just one of an unending series of events fixed in the eternal timeline of God's ever unfolding plans for mankind. His "going forth" is a reference to Christ leaving from the Throne of God in order to descend back to the earth. And again, this event is already "prepared" or fixed as surely as is the daily morning sunrise is fixed to occur at a certain time. It has been eternally fixed to come at a certain day and time before the foundations of the earth were laid (Genesis 1:14-19; 8:22).

"...and He shall come unto us as the rain," Again this phrase refers to the fact that Jesus will come to save His people at a predetermined time as surly as the rains come to Israel at two well know and appointed times of the year. It is then that they water the crops, saving them from death by drought, and give sustenance and life.

"... even as the latter and the former rain unto the earth." The Latter and Former rain prophetically refers to the two outpourings of the Holy Spirit. The Former to the early church and the Latter to the present church especially during the Tribulation Period revival (Acts 2;17-21). The Messiah's coming to save and bless Israel will be like a refreshing cool rain after a long hot dry season.

Literally, the former rain falls in October at seeding time. The Latter, or Spring rain, falls in March and April to cause the grain crops to further mature and ripen. One came at the beginning of the year and the other at the end or harvest time of the year. So, the Lord will literally come to save the people of Israel as surely as the seasonal rains come to save their crops.

SECOND COMING DATE BASED ON ANNIVERSARY OF ASCENSION

Jesus was crucified April 3^rd 33 A.D. and returned or ascended to his place 40 days later on May 15th of 33 A.D. His ascension was exactly ten days before the Feast of Pentecost. It was during this feast that He sent the Holy Spirt to indwell His disciples and all His followers from that day forward. So, if Christ is alluding to His return date through the prophecy of Hosea, "in two days He will revive us" then Jesus would stay in His place, or on the Throne of God, for two days or 2,000 years. Then, at the end of two thousand years, He will return. Two thousand years from May of 33 A.D. would be May of 2033. Hosea goes on to state that, "on the third day He will raise us up" which means not only the saving of the Jewish race, but simultaneously saving the righteous human race. So we now have a compelling timeline for this major event in human history.

RAPTURE DATE BASED ON JEWISH FEAST OF TRUMPETS

Now, we know that the Rapture happens before the Second Coming, and is the trigger for the start of the seven year Tribulation period. So, we need to take the date of the Second Coming in 2033 and count backwards 7 years to account for the Tribulation period. The start of the Tribulation Period would be 2026. We can rightly suppose the Rapture will trigger the Tribulation period as the rapture will cause 2.5 billion followers of Christ to suddenly disappear. Additionally, because the Bible tells us the age of accountability includes all those under the age of nineteen, we may further assume that the rapture will also include the 2.5 billion children of the earth. We saw the shadow of this event when God allowed the children of the Exodus to go into the Promised Land (Exodus 30:14). So, the sudden disappearance of 5 billion people will definitely be the event that triggers total chaos in the world known as the tribulation period.

As for the exact date of the Rapture in 2026, it will most likely take place in September of 2026 and here is why. There are 7 annual Jewish feasts. These feasts were given by God to Moses and were originally designed by God as shadow events concerning the life and mission and second Coming of the Jewish Messiah. Jesus satisfied the first four feasts in their exact order. The 5th or next feast to be satisficed is the Feast of Trumpets. This is literally when the trumpet or shofar is sounded and the farming people of Israel literally rush out into the land and gather their crops that are now ripe and ready for the harvest. They store up these crops up in silos safe from thieves, natural disasters and insects. But prophetically, this is an exact description given by the Apostle John in the Book of Revelation. There he says he heard a voice that was like the trump of the Arch Angel. He then saw Jesus who told him to "come up". He ascended up from the earth, saw an open door in the sky and was drawn up and through it. There he found himself in Heaven before the Throne of God (Revelation 4:1-3).

It is likely, that a future Feast of Trumpets date, the Archangel will sound his trumpet, Jesus will give the command to "come up" at which time all the righteous, both alive and dead, will instantly be harvested and transported up from earth and safely into Heaven (I Thessalonians 4:16-17). The Rapture occurring on this Jewish feast day is also designed to catch the attention of the Jews. It is then that the scales of spiritual disbelief in Christ will began to fall from their eyes (Romans 11:25).

So, while the Rapture can happen at any time, we should be looking at the Feast of Trumpets as the next possible Rapture date. This feast falls on October 3rd in 2024, Sept 24th in 2025 and September 11th in 2026. Mark your calendars and tell your loved ones to always be ready. We are living in Biblical times!

"Now when these things began to happen, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draws near." (Luke 21:28)

 NOTE: The year 2033 will be the two thousandth anniversary of four major events in the ministry of Christ. He was crucified, Friday April 3rd 33 A.D. He arose Sunday April 5th. Forty days later He ascended to Heaven on May 15th. He sent the Holy Spirit to indwell His followers on the Feast of Pentecost May 25th 33 A.D. So theoretically, any of these major events dates would make a good Rapture date in the coming years.

However, because Jesus ascended May 15th 33 A.D., He might descend on this date to conduct the Rapture in May of 2025 or 2026. Then again, the Church Age is thought to have officially begun on Pentecost or May 25th 33 A.D. So, if the Rapture were to end the church Age, it makes sense that it would logically occur on the two thousand year anniversary of Pentecost. And that date would be May 25th of 2025 or 2026.

As for the the possible Second Coming of Christ in 2033, the most probable date would be on the Fall Feast of Yom Kippur for three reasons.

First, this is highest and most holy of all 7 annual feasts. It is the feast in which the Jews pray fervently to have their sins covered and be allowed to live another year. This would be the logical time that Jesus would appear to defeat the armies of the Antichrist and save a remnant of the Jewish race.

Second, we now know, because of modern astronomy, that Jesus was born on June 17th, 2 B.C. during the conjunction of the planets, Venus and Jupiter. So, if we look back nine months, we see that His conception would have occurred in September of 3 B.C. Further, Scripture gives us a direct clue that His conception did in fact occur on the Fall Feast of Yom Kippur. The Apostle John tells us he had a vision in which He saw a virgin appear with the sun in her stomach and a new moon at her feet with twelve stars over her head (Revelation 12:1-5). Using modern astronomy software, we clearly see this exact scene appeared in the sky over Israel in September of 3 B.C. during the Fall Feast of Yom Kippur. The astrological sign of Virgo the virgin, arose with the morning sun in her midsection, a new moon at her feet, and she had twelve stars over her head! What a perfect time for God to start the creation of the physical body of Jesus on the Jews most holy feast. And, what a perfect time for God to celebrate this event's anniversary than with the return of Christ, still in that same body, on this feast date!

The third reason this would be a good Second Coming date is that it is the sixth feast that needs to be accomplished. The seventh and last feast is the Feast of Booths or Tabernacles when God lived with His people during the Exodus. This shadow prophecy will be satisfied with the thousand year Reign of Christ when the visible God lives and rules His creation mankind.

The two thousand year anniversary date of Jesus' Crucifixion and ascension is the year 2033. And the Feast date of Yom Kippur in that year is October 3rd 2033 (10.3.33). It should not be lost on the reader that the number 333 is a direct reference to the Triune Godhead.
